With more and more women starting their own VA businesses and taking control of their own lives.

Women hold the power to change our world into one that is more peaceful and harmonious. As quoted by the Dalai Lama: “The world will be saved by the western woman”.

As the top female entrepreneurs have shown us, when we stand in our own feminine power and on the edge of business success, we understand that there are no limits to how we can contribute to society – financially, intuitively and emotionally. Looking at the top ten female entrepreneurs, there are valuable lessons we can learn from them that will enable us to achieve our own business successes as a VA.

Research

All top female entrepreneurs thoroughly research their markets – both prior to and after releasing a product or service. And it doesn’t stop once the product or service is live; they keep getting feedback on it, refining and honing it to make it the best it possibly can be. Research is crucial to success, it illustrates whether something is just a good idea or it is actually needed and wanted – as well as illustrating whether the market is willing to pay for it in the first place!

Don’t do it alone

You may be a solo business but you really don’t have to do it alone. Smart women know the value of building a supportive group around them. They surround themselves with people who can help them, support them or show them the way (as detailed below).

But doing it alone isn’t just about having a network of friend and fans around you – it’s about getting accountable too, so find someone who will hold you accountable to your goals.

Emulate someone who’s already done it

Savvy entrepreneurs know the quickest way to success is to emulate someone who’s already doing what you want to do. This doesn’t mean you can’t inject your own personality, but copy their strategies and procedures. To make this work for you, keep it realistic for your situation. Find someone who is just a step or two ahead of you, as picking someone who is too far ahead, may leave you feeling demotivated and drained.

Believe in yourself

Have a rock solid belief in yourself and your abilities… and make it unshakable. If you believe in your goals and abilities, others will pick up on your enthusiasm and want to get involved to help you achieve them. Believe in yourself enough to invest in yourself too – not just the business side of things. Invest in your training – whether that’s in new skills or clearing resistance and blocks you may have that are currently holding you back.

Finally, all top entrepreneurs have the stamina and focus to keep going. Their belief in themselves, their product and ultimately their dream is enough to keep their energy and vibration high; to push them forward regardless of what obstacles may be in their way and regardless of what others may think… and that’s a rock solid belief in yourself, your abilities and the secret to success.
